PAEX is a family business based in Ellingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany. The two brothers Lorenz and Wellem Clausen are the third generation of the family to carry on the butcher's tradition. In early 1996, they started to work with the idea to produce fresh meat for dogs. PAEX was born.
Today the production site of PAEX covers 33.000 square meters, 18.000 of those are roofed. The entire facility has a well-thought-out energy management system with its own technicians. All roofs are equipped with photovoltaic systems, and a large heat recovery system heats the buildings in winter.
