My name is Yeppe and I am the family dog of the Clausens. I was born in 2023 and I’m living in a paradise for dogs. At PAEX everyone is dedicated to produce healthy food for dogs, cats and other pets on a species-appropriate diet: BARF refers to biologically appropriate raw feeding. We are using the whole body of the butchered animals, therefore I enjoy a delicious variety of fresh meat and offal. Pure nature in my bowl, pure happiness and health in my life.
My name is Hardy, maybe you recognize me? From 2013 to 2023 I was the family dog of the Clausen family. I worked at PAEX as a quality inspector and company mascot. My face was the inspiration for the PAEX logo and so I will always stay close to my loved ones.
PAEX is a family business based in Ellingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany. The two brothers Lorenz and Wellem Clausen are the third generation of the family to carry on the butcher's tradition. In early 1996, they started to work with the idea to produce fresh meat for dogs. PAEX was born.
Today the production site of PAEX covers 33.000 square meters, 18.000 of those are roofed. The entire facility has a well-thought-out energy management system with its own technicians. All roofs are equipped with photovoltaic systems, and a large heat recovery system heats the buildings in winter.
Within our wide range of barf products we also offer an extensive organic production. This requires not only the use of organic meat, but also specific standards and accuracy in production, which we ensure with our quality management system.
We are proud to produce the best for our dogs and we know that we get this love and affection back in return. The healthy and happy dogs of our loyal customers and our team are the living proof for what proper nutrition can do.
